Trish Goetze

I first met Trish & Ian Goetze back in 2005 when I was beginning to show my own
German Spitz Ch Ryfrost Worth The Wait.
They had recently moved to country Victoria (Kilmore) from Tasmania.
Trish immediately took me under her wing. She was always happy to help me learn to groom and
show my own dog and irrespective of the result on the day we celebrated each other's performances.
Trish had an extensive knowledge of German Spitz, her lines (Trinian) largely coming from the Blacklore prefix.
In the time that I knew her, she had some impressive wins in the ring,
most recently a Best in Group win with her newest dog
Banjospitz Southern Cesar (Fraser),
a grandson of Ch Trinian Midnight Dancer from her own line.
Shortly before she passed away, she saw Fraser gain his Australian Champion title
which made her very proud, as she was with all her dogs.
I spent many happy times with Trish and Ian, had some great picnics and drank some fine wine,
often in the company of our friend Brian Crump of Banjospitz German Spitz.
She was a wonderful lady I was proud to call my friend.
Trish passed away on 29/01/2011 after a long illness.
She will be missed but not forgotten.
Rest in Peace, my friend, till we meet again.....
